Learn, Develop and Grow as a Teacher

Ideal for students who want a thorough understanding of syllabus progression and teaching techniques.

Focused Level 4 Pathway

Designed specifically for students who have already completed the IDTA Level 3 Diploma in the same genre.

This pathway includes two hours of weekly Zoom tuition, focusing on Intermediate syllabus work and Units 1 and 3, with access to the complete learning resource library.

Additional Genre Pathway

“I thoroughly enjoyed taking my first ever Level 4 Diploma with Joanne and am currently under going a second. Joanne was very encouraging throughout and gave me the little push I needed to sit my first exam which went really well. During the course I have learnt very valuable knowledge about the syllabus, teaching techniques and have gained confidence as a dance teacher. Alongside Joannes tips and knowledge shared I have met lots of other dance teachers and we have all shared our tips and tricks with each other too. Outside of the course hours it can be difficult to find time so I really appreciate that Joanne gives us time during the hours to choreograph, complete writing tasks and ask questions. Growing up learning some of the IDTA syllabus and now learning it from a teacher’s perspective has really helped me to build my knowledge and I now feel more confident not only teaching but with the progress of the kids I am pushing to do exams. I highly recommend a Level 4 with Joanne to anyone who wishes to take up teaching or even just expand their current qualifications. Joanne is so knowledgeable, a great mentor and has been an invaluable support throughout my teaching career.”

“I studied my level 4 theatre craft with Jo and felt so supported throughout the whole process! I was apprehensive for the course but felt like I learnt everything I needed to know and more. The sessions were always very informative and by the time the exam came round I felt very prepared through all the materials I was given. The whole course was very detailed and well delivered. And the support had continued after my exam, any questions I have I can ask and get well informed answers back! I’d highly recommend the course to anyone wishing to joint the IDTA and gain teaching qualifications.”
